I’m a thirty-something gal and I live with my husband and two dogs in a cute little house on the edge of Dogtown, a St. Louis neighborhood known for it’s Irish heritage. I keep a blog for a one main reason: I think it’s fun and it makes me feel creative. Also, it’s a handy way to keep friends across the country up to date on my life’s happenings.
My blog came by it’s name honestly. We have two Volvo 240 station wagons that are near and dear to our hearts. One of them has one of those awesome third row pop-up seats in the trunk. It’s all part of our mini-van avoidance plan! More than that, the Volvos have come to represent a slower, less expensive, and more intentional lifestyle - the kind of life that is full of good food and good company.
